R195.39 is the first driver that offer a public Open CL support.
The Open that comes with R195.38 is actually the Khronos Open CL interface and real Open CL implementation is hidden in some nvcuda files…
Note: During driver installation you may have been notified that 'aticonfig --initial' can be used to create the required configuration file.
If you do and then have problems with your video configuration, try using the simplified version shown above.
Anyway installing R195.39 / R 195.62 is enough to have Open CL on your system.
We'll e-mail you with an estimated delivery date as soon as we have more information.
By doing this, you'll tell FIFA your driver version is higher than it is (like driving a car with a fake ID while you're a minor who learnt to drive) What GPU are you using?
In my case, I have a XFX Radeon HD 6870 played it in LOW and there were a few green texture corruptions in some player's faces, but it was playable despite that.
I only want to install this so the machine wont run so hot (it worked with Ubuntu 12.04/Catalyst 12.4) - please help I have an ATI HD 6570 on an Intel Q45 chipset (with integrated GM4500 video and E8400 core2duo cpu) on which I have installed Ubuntu 13.04 with Catalyst 13.4. Either are installed and XBMC is not using video acceleration or I get these annoying black screens.
After restart (even with sudo aticonfig) the screen is blank. :( 1 - Download Catalyst 13.4 from AMD site (previous versions will not work).
